The Smith County School District, in accordance with the Mississippi Department of Education guidelines, aim to identify, locate, and evaluate children who have health impairments or physical, mental, communicative, and/ or emotional disabilities. Services include, but are not limited to, inclusion, resource, self-contained and homebound services. The SCSD Special Education Department's goal is to meet the individual needs of all students.
